Fighting Frizz

It's time to put an end to our ongoing fight with the dreaded frizz. I'm sure you agree it's one of the hardest problems in hair to tame, but it is possible! We have some top tips to share with you on how you can tame that frizz.

Wash Wisely

Start using hydrating, natural hair products and stay away from products which contact Parabens, Sulphates and alcohol as these may strip your hair of natural oils over a prolonged period. Don't over shampoo your hair either! Shampoo contains cleansing agents to remove dirt which can also strip away natural oils in your hair. Stick to a small amount of shampoo and focus only on the scalp.

Keep Conditioning

Conditioners contain essential oils and proteins which work to lock in moisture and natural oil in your hair. Using conditioners after shampoo is an essential step in every haircare routine to reduce frizz and create shine.

Ditch the Towel

Yes, you heard right. Ditch those cotton towels! Cotton towels cling to hair strands, causing friction and dehydration which means frizz! It's time to swap to microfibre headwraps, especially if you have curly hair. Microfibre is an extremely fine material which means it creates the perfect soft surface for your hair to retain moisture, instead of absorbing it.

Get Oiling

Oil is one of the best remedies for frizzy hair. Frizz is generally caused when your hair has a lack of moisture as a result of damage. Oils work to deeply hydrate the hair fibres and nourish the follicles which restores your hair on a long term basis. Some of the best oils for treating frizzy hair include Almond Oil,  Macadamia Oil, Safflower Oil and Olive Oil which are all ingredients included in our Anti Frizz Blend.

Life isn't perfect, but your hair can be.
